Coalescer

Contact Us Today

Coalescer filters trap and remove water, oil, and other liquid aerosols from compressed air or gas streams. Separating liquid droplets is a challenge, but it’s as critical as particulate filtration to keep systems moving. Our specially formulated coalescer media features a unique surface structure and gradient density that provides superior separation in all air/gas applications.

  • With a mean pore size ranging from <1 to 25 microns, H&V’s media can meet the needs for almost any level of separation you require.
  • Our multi-phase coalescer filtration media achieve extremely low steady-state pressure change, superior processability, and long life.

H+V consider fuel/water separation and other liquid/liquid coalescer products to be so critical, we have a separate set of products dedicated to that application - Fuel/water separation products

Whether your market is compressors, natural gas, cabin pressurization, or industrial, the newest liquid/air separation applications require high resistance to water, mineral oil, fuel, and chemical aerosols. H&V’s glass and synthetic media and resin treatments exceed your durability and environmental requirements:

  • The superior performance of our coalescer media increases customer component life and reduces system warranty costs.
  • Available customizations include tailored water/oil repellency levels, synthetic content up to 100%, and gradient densities for unique liquid materials.

Our worldwide technology and marketing experts understand the complexity of your coalescing installations and can fulfill even your most exacting requirements. With mills in the U.S., Mexico, Germany, U.K., and China, H&V provides globally consistent products and short supply-chain lead times.
