H&V Announces Expansion into India with Formation of JV with Nath Group.

East Walpole, MA December 16, 2010: Citing continued escalation in production costs, Hollingsworth & Vose announces a price increase of up to 10% for specific products within its Engineered Composite Materials group. New prices go into effect on all orders shipped on or after February 1, 2011 or as contracts allow. The increase will vary by product, grade and region depending cost escalation.

 

Hollingsworth & Vose Announces a Price Increase on its High Efficiency and Specialty Filter Media Products

East Walpole, MA December 2, 2010: Citing continued escalation in raw material costs, Hollingsworth & Vose announces 2-5% price increases for its High Efficiency & Specialty Filtration business, which serves HVAC, clean room, facemask, appliance, analytical and other markets. New prices for glass and synthetic filter media will be effective by February 1, 2011 or as contracts allow. The increase will vary by product, grade and region depending on material cost escalation.

 

Hollingsworth & Vose Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against ECN Industries

East Walpole, MA November 24, 2010: On November 5, 2010, Hollingsworth & Vose, through its subsidiary Hollingsworth & Vose Air Filtration, Ltd., served a patent infringement lawsuit against ECN Industries, Inc. The suit, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, alleges that ECN’s electrostatic air filtration products sold under the “Alphastar” brand name infringe H&V’s U. S. Patent No. 6,623,548. The suit seeks damages and an injunction against future infringement.

 

Hollingsworth & Vose Announces a Price Increase on its Engine and Industrial Filter Media Products

East Walpole, MA November 16, 2010: Citing continued cost inflation in specialty raw materials, H&V today announces a price increase on its Engine and Industrial Filtration products. H&V announces Apizaco, Mexico mill to become wholly-owned subsidiary

January 9, 2006 - East Walpole, MA, USA - Hollingsworth & Vose Company announces the acquisition of the minority interest in the filtration materials mill in Apizaco, Mexico. The Mexico mill was originally established in 1981 as Hovomex, a joint venture with Morodo Santistaban S.A. de C.V. This transaction is part of H&V's multi-year capital campaign to strengthen service and supply capabilities to customers worldwide.
