H&V offers two synthetic meltblown composites with high gamma
filtration performance and maximum dirt holding capacity. These
materials are used in pocket filters and wire backed rigid frame
designs and can be ultrasonically sealed or sewn.
This new, unique line of ASHRAE media has been designed to be extremely
uniform, making it the media of choice for ultrasonically sealed
bag processes. AphaSeal allows for a strong seal at high process
speeds with reduced risk of burn-through of the media.
The proprietary composite material is composed of multiple layers
of gradient density meltblown media, providing high dust-holding
capacity and much higher stiffness. AlphaSeal media is ideal for
use in variable air volume HVAC systems. For high-end ASHRAE applications,
such as paint spraying booths, H&V offers a line of self-supporting
media that is easily ultrasonically sealed at value prices.
The
new performance standard for commercial air handling filtration,
AlphaPerm Plus is our premier line of synthetic ASHRAE products.
AlphaPerm Plus material consists of a meltblown composite with a
nonwoven prefilter layer. The media is self-supporting and is recommended
for environments that require extremely high dust holding capacity.
