 H&V’s embossable 100% synthetic media allows filter manufacturers to create exciting new filter forms through three-dimensional thermal embossing and pleating. With our highly flexible material, rigid pleated and embossed structures can be produced that offer significantly reduced resistance and increased surface area. Now, manufacturers can design filters with improved laminar (or unidirectional) air flow.
Embossable synthetic media’s rigid cells and advanced pleating structures are ideal for premium high-efficiency residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC filters. Manufacturers can create twice the media surface area using the same size and shape. The result is dramatically higher dust-holding capacity and much lower resistance.
