POSITION SUMMARY:

The Site Scheduler will be reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Scheduler is responsible for confirming order ship dates and for planning efficient order fulfillment. The Site Scheduler works closely with customer service, procurement, manufacturing, and shipping personnel to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction with minimum inventory investment and maximum production efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and distributing asset production cycle schedules based upon AOP forecasts and efficient product family sequencing.
  • Working with Procurement, Business Units, Manufacturing, and Shipping in order to meet customer OTD and OTIF targets.
  • Maintaining planning system input parameters such as planning horizons, lead times, run quantities, trimming, cycles, etc.
  • Identifying opportunities for utilizing FG and SFG stock.
  • Creating and planning stock replenishment orders to maintain adequate inventory levels for customer stocking programs and laminating base media.
  • Confirm (and revise if necessary) order ship dates (CTA Dates).
  • Create and confirm production runs and assign available finished goods.
  • Manage customer and production order changes.
  • Work with asset owners to confirm order priorities.
  • Optimize sequencing of grades on assets.
  • Maintain the asset production schedules, review daily and update as necessary.
  • Advise stakeholders of any significant changes in the asset schedules.
  • Lock the asset schedules by end-of day the Thursday before the cycle week.
  • Complete runs and re-plan any relevant balances and communicate shortages to Shipping and Customer Service.
  • Support Procurement MRP activities by providing quarterly updates to projected cycle run quantities by grade.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in materials management or business with 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, and materials control function. Or, five years of production/material control experience.
    APICS certification is a plus.

SUMMARY:

The Solution Delivery Manager is responsible for the full systems development life cycle management of projects/programs and production support. Provides direction for technical and business resources. Actively participates in long-range strategy planning and manages policy development to address complex business issues, provides leadership to cross-functional teams. Recommends processes and tools to support the work of the team, including but not limited to requirements definition, development standards (code, reports, interfaces, etc); version control, and testing standards. Serves as the primary technical point of contact from project/program inception to delivery. Works with business unit managers and forms alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification. Manages and coaches a team of business system analysts and developers to assign work (project/support), coach on completing the work assignments, and provide development opportunities for them to further grow in their job roles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key technical lead for projects involving all H&V enterprise business systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, TIPS MES, Salesforce, Power BI, etc.)
  • Provide technical and functional support guidance to team members.
  • Interfaces with vendors on technical support issues.

Environmental Engineer Floyd, VA

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Environmental Director, the Environmental Engineer, in partnership with Site Operations, will have responsibility for coordinating and enabling site compliance activities in the areas of air, water, chemical and waste management. They will provide environmental services and support for the Floyd, VA manufacturing sites, ensuring sound business practices and environmental compliance. This includes managing wastewater treatment and air permitting. The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for accurately interpreting applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES (CORE REQUIREMENTS & LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES):

  • Provide site leadership and direct support to coordinate and implement facility environmental programs, projects, and other compliance activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies and programs targeted at continuous improvement in environmental and sustainability performance, culture, and cost reduction.
  • Compile and track environmental metrics. This includes sampling, analysis, testing, and recordkeeping.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor ensures day-to-day safe and efficient operation of the plant and provides leadership, coaching, training and direction to employees.  This position will facilitate communications to production associates and should provide a model example of behavior and engagement.

Production WorkerWest Groton, MA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Worker will be responsible for operating, assisting, and supporting paper machine operations. This involves working with high speed, continuous process equipment and forklift operation. Once trained, the employees will be assigned to an entry-level position or utility position. Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, they will become members of the USW Local 0880 bargaining unit.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Paper Machine and reminder, assisting in materials movement, labeling and packaging, collecting and removing broke/scrap materials, performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks in the general Mill area and other tasks as assigned by crew leaders and Supervision.
  • General knowledge of safe practices and safe performance of all duties, including proper use of PPE, proper operation of fork trucks and attachments, strict adherence to all safe practices and guidelines and general safe conduct at all times in the Mill.
  • And other related duties as assigned or required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Work experience in an industrial environment preferred. Paper Mill experience a plus.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:

  • Computer skills and able to conduct work tasks on computer systems are preferred.

  • Successful candidates will be team players with good communication skills (English), good math and mechanical skills, safe working records, and the ability to work effectively with others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTS:

Quality Engineer Floyd, VA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Engineer will support critical Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions as well as planned process studies/projects/improvements, and identify opportunities for continual process improvements for H&V Operations in Floyd, VA. The Quality Engineer will plan, develop and implement solutions for these improvements using sound engineering principles with a focus on continuous improvement. The Quality Engineer will work to ensure a product or service provides a high level of quality that meets customer expectations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain non-conforming material process including material assessment and communication / documentation of disposition decisions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for online test gauges utilized for quality release (i.e. vision systems) to ensure consistent application and design across multiple production lines.
  • Maintain and manage Gauge R&R schedules for test equipment.
  • Review customer drawings versus existing specifications. Complete data collection and capability studies as needed to verify compatibility.
  • Provide support, guidance, and leadership as appropriate for customer complaint investigations.
  • Lead completion of customer requested PPAP documentation.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures designed to improve product quality as needs are identified.
  • Participate in teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to process related issues.
  • Participate in and lead internal audit activities.
  • Maintain all ISO requirements and associated supporting systems by ensuring adherence to existing processes.
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager in promoting quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Establish and drive quality initiatives required to ensure customer satisfaction and consistency in manufacturing.
  • Foster good employee relations.
  • Other related duties as assigned or required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years work experience in Quality Engineering preferred within a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab.

Solutions Architect Operational TechnologyEast Walpole, MA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Solutions Architect Operational Technology will be responsible for partnering with the Operations Technology (OT) team in the design, architecture, selection, and support of industrial process control networks. The role is the key liaison between IT and OT team to ensure that all infrastructure, and security considerations are included in the start-up of new systems and retrofitting, where necessary, legacy platforms. This role will develop and maintain the Global roadmap for upgrading, securing, and installing process control frameworks and systems including managing outside vendors. The role will partner within IT and Process Control Engineering group to leverage and share systems & resources where appropriate to facilitate a cohesive system from plant floor to business systems. The administration and management of assigned capital projects is required.  Partnering with the plant operations team to ensure consistency in the roadmap is necessary as well as ensuring the compliance of sites to all IT/OT standards and policies. Travel and on-site support for key integration projects to US domestic and international sites should be anticipated.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with IT Infrastructure Operations to Ensure Integrity and Security of Industrial Control System (ICS) networks, servers, infrastructure, and systems used for production.
  • Develop and execute roadmap and migration plans to upgrade sites to meet corporate standards for ICS networks, infrastructure, and systems.
  • Stand up ICS change board to review upcoming changes for approval to move forward and transparency in changes moving to production.
  • Identify and track any OT security risks both internal and external and develop mitigation plans as they arise.
  • Partner with IT infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to update standards and policies for network design/security of ICS infrastructure systems.
  • Develop or update standards and policies for data management and security.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant IT resources to ensure all developed policies, procedures, standards, and systems serve and meet the requirements of both groups.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Various programming languages for developing technical interfaces: SQL, VB.NET, VBA, Powershell.
  • Experience with Stratix or Cisco switches and routers preferred.
  • Experience with MS Server, Azure, O365.
  • Experience with VMWARE.
  • Project/program management experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTS:

  • The position will be working in and around the operating floors so all the typical restrictions that would apply to our production personnel would apply.
  • Person needs to be able to walk up and down stairs and work in tight or confined areas.
  • Occasionally work in panels with live electrical circuits and must be able to wear the necessary PPE to prevent injury.
  • Person must be able to hear with ear plugs, see well enough with safety glasses to work in a production environment, speak clearly to be understood by hourly employees for training and to provide direction, walk and stand on concrete floors for a considerable period of time, climb stairs and ladders, and work with a computer screen for long periods of time.
  • Will spend considerable time sitting in office, using computer, possible repetitive motion.
