The liquid filtration market is a large and fragmented market with applications ranging from residential and municipal drinking water, waste water, desalination, biomedical, food and beverage, gas and oil drilling and processing, and many more. Most require a high level of purity combined with fast-flow filtration. 

Our low hydraulic resistance nanofibrous media with sub-micron fiber and pore size offer the best depth and surface loading. H&V’s fibrous media are suitable for particle depth filtration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, and ion exchange materials: 

  • NANOWEB is manufactured with fibers in the 50 to 700 nanometer range. Available in polypropylene and polyester, nylon, polyacrylonitrile, polyethersulfone, and polyvinylidine fluoride—both calendared and uncalendared—NANOWEB delivers high microfiltration performance with low pressure drop.
  • Cellulose paper is our most economical filter media offering excellent filtration efficiency in the coarser >10 micron range with low resistance and high dirt holding capacity.
  • Our micro fiberglass glass media delivers high efficiency and high dust loading in the 1 to 10 micron range.
  • For the highest purity of polymeric media in the 1 to 10 micron range, H&V offers a full line of meltblown media available in polypropylene, polyester, and nylon in both calendared and uncalendared versions.
