Meet our senior leadership team
Val Hollingsworth began his career at H&V in Operations working as a night shift supervisor, a production manager and a plant manager. Then, he was Director of International Sales and General Manager of the Battery Separator Division. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers in New York. He’s currently a trustee of The Learning Center for Deaf Children and of Brooks School. He has a BA from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
Josh assumed the role of Division President, Engine & Industrial Filtration in June 2013. He joined H&V in March 2009 as Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, based in Suzhou, China. In previous years, Josh worked for SABIC, formerly GE Plastics, where he was Global Product Manager, Film Products, located in Shanghai, China. Josh’s experience includes sales, marketing, and general management with industrial manufactured products for American Cyanamid, Troy Biosciences, and Universal Electronics. Josh holds a BS in Agricultural Economics and an MBA from Auburn University.
Matt Bradbury became the Vice President, Global Operations in 2021. He joined H&V in 2011 as the Operations Manager of our plant in Winchcombe, UK. In August 2013, Matt became the Plant Manager of the mill. Since then, Matt has been responsible for leading operations in Winchcombe including Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Environmental Health & Safety. Previously Matt worked for Billerud where he gained broad experience in papermaking in a variety of roles from Senior Development Officer to Shift Manager and Operations Manager.
Matt holds a Bachelors Degree in Paper Science from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology and a Masters Degree in Engineering from Open University.
Mike Clark is our Division President of High Efficiency and Specialty Filtration. He joined H&V in July 2003 as a member of the New Business Development Group. Prior to his current role, Mike served as Director of Global Market Management—HVAC and Clean Room and as Director, Sales and Marketing of our European HESF business unit. Before joining H&V, Mike was a strategy consultant responsible for the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative’s manufacturing practice. He began his career in the field of mechanical engineering working for Pratt & Whitney and the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Angela DiNisco became the Vice President of Human Resources in March 2020. She came to H&V in May 2016 as the Global Manager of Talent & Development. Prior to being named Vice President of Human Resources, she was the Director of Global Organizational Effectiveness. Previously, Angela worked for BAE Systems and Harvard Business Publishing. Angela has a BS in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Organizational & Social Psychology from London School of Economics.
Ken Fausnacht, Vice President, Global Operations, has been with H&V for 27 years. Prior to his current position, he was H&V’s Director of Asia Pacific Operations and played a key role in the design, staffing, and commercialization of our plant in Suzhou, China. He previously served as a Superintendent of our Floyd plant, Mill Manager of our Hawkinsville plant, Director of Administrative Services of our West Groton plant, and Director of Corporate Purchasing and Operations of our East Walpole headquarters. He has a BS from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree from the Institute of Paper Chemistry. He is also a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jochem Hofstetter is our Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, Africa Region (EMEA). Jochem joined H&V in September 2007. Previously, he worked for the specialty chemical business of Celanese (formerly Hoechst). He spent seventeen years at Celanese and the former Hoechst Group companies in a succession of sales, marketing, and general management positions. Jochem has a BA from the University of Cologne, Germany.
Schuyler Hollingsworth is our Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications. He joined H&V in November 2020 as a new member of the organization and leadership team. Prior to joining H&V, Schuyler spent a majority of his career working in leadership roles in marketing and sales for both Nestle SA and Time Warner, Inc. Most recently, Schuyler served as the GM and Executive Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing for ESI Enterprises, a global distributor in the consumer electronics sector. Schuyler is focused on strengthening H&V’s overall marketing and communications approach in markets and with customers H&V serves globally. He holds a BS in Communications from Northwestern University, an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Ali Husain is our Chief Financial Officer. He joined H&V in November 2020 with more than 20 years of financial and operations experience in the technology industry, most recently at Analog Devices Inc. (ADI), where he served as Chief Financial Officer of its $1+ billion Power Products Group based in Silicon Valley. Prior to his 17 year tenure at ADI, Ali spent 4 years at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Boston, MA. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts.
Tim Li is our Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific Region (APAC). He joined H&V in February 2013. Tim has been responsible for leading operations in China including Plant Operations, Supply chain, Quality and Environmental Health and Safety. He has been in Operations for over 15 years, most recently at AstenJohnson Technical Fabrics in Suzhou, China. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Automatic Controls Engineering from Soochow University in China and a Masters of Business Administration from Tongji and ENPC France University in China.
John Madej is Chief Operating Officer of H&V and previously served as Chief Financial Officer. He joined H&V in June 2009 as Vice President and General Manager of the Energy and Industrial Systems Business Unit. He was also the Division President of the Engine and Industrial Filtration division. The majority of his career has been with General Electric (GE). Most recently, he was President and CEO of Exatec LLC, a GE-Bayer joint venture.
Deirdre Murphy became the company's Vice President and Chief Legal Officer in 2017. She served as the Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Hollingsworth & Vose Company since 1996. Previously, she was in private practice at Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP, in Boston. Deirdre earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Boston College Law School.
Suzanne Rotherham is Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Business Systems responsible for the supply chain, strategic sourcing, and information technology teams. She joined H&V in October 2008 as Director, Supply Chain. Her career started working for FreeMarkets, subsequently acquired by SAP Ariba, during which time she consulted with many diversified manufacturing clients. Prior to joining H&V, she worked at Johns Manville with a variety of experiences in the sourcing team and leading a SAP implementation for the Procure to Pay processes. Suzanne is originally from the North West of England and after graduating with a BS in Business Management & Administration from Aston University, Birmingham, England, she relocated to the United States.
Nick Starita became the Division President of Energy and Industrial Systems (EIS) in January, 2018. He joined H&V in October, 2010 as a Product Marketing Manager in the HESF business unit, transitioning to the EIS business unit as the Director, Global Product Management. Prior to joining H&V Nick was with Milliken & Company for nine years where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Planning roles. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
