Our proprietary polymer-to-web processes, including meltblown and nanofiber, produce materials with standard microfibers or very fine nanofibers. These materials can be combined with or coated onto other substrates, or produced as a free-standing sheet.
Meltblown materials, produced by melting and extruding polymers directly into a web, are offered in weights ranging from 5 to 100 g/m2. We are recognized for our material uniformity, wide range of polymer capability, and ability to consistently meet key performance characteristics.
Nanofibers offer high surface area without negatively impacting other performance characteristics, such as basis weight or caliper. Our experience with nanofibers dates back to 1999—we have significant expertise in optimizing the nanofiber/base sheet composite.
We offer a diverse range of polymer chemistries, including:
- Polypropylene
- Polybutylene terephthalate
- Nylon
- Polyacrylonitrile
- Polyethersulfone
- Polyvinylidene fluoride
